Principal Message

Principal Desk

Dear All,

Welcome to the RIS family!!!

Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” Education does not only mean academic excellence. It rather is a harmonious and synchronized combination of hand (skills like various arts), head (Intellectual Power) and heart (Value System). In the present era of the digitalized world, it the biggest challenge before educators and parents, to nurture the young minds with the indelible impressions of a holistic education.

At RIS, we understand that education is about guiding and supporting young people on a pathway of success: my staff and I are confident that each learner in our care will unlock and realise that potential and indeed, aspire beyond with our support. We also recognise that education is a shared responsibility between family and school and we truly value the partnership that we forge with our parents

We consider it a privilege to work with your learners every day to help them be their very best selves. We believe that each and every learner has a gift to share with the world, and we work hard to unlock their highest potential. We have high expectations of our learners, and we have high expectations of ourselves to help all RIS learners learn and grow into well-rounded citizens and critical thinkers. RIS aims to develop leadership skills, social and emotional skills, and academic skills to prepare learners for success not only in middle school but also in high school, career, relationships, and life-long learning.

RIS learners will be taught to view themselves as learners and to think about what it looks like to be a good learner and thinker. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are as important as content knowledge.
